WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT AT A KIS EVENT?   We find sweet local spots with space to mingle, invite a bunch of fun people (including yourself!) and make space for connection. Bring a friend or two if you'd like or show up solo. KIS events are short and sweet by design lasting 1-2 hours to fit busy schedules. Every event is different and gives you a chance to meet new folks and have a fun social experience. 
 

ARE EVENTS ORGANIZED BY AGE GROUP?   Most KIS members are in their 30s, 40s and 50s and all are interested in connecting face to face and meeting new people. KIS encourages all types of connections (friends, networking, community, sparks) -- so there might be more women than men at an event for example. And we are all-inclusive. All sexualities are welcomed, respected and invited to join KIS.

HOW MANY EVENTS DO YOU HAVE EACH MONTH?   We host at least 3 events each month - usually 1 event each week. As membership grow, we'll keep adding events. We expect to be hosting 3-5/events each week throughout Los Angeles in 2025.
 

DO I HAVE TO RSVP?   Yup. While we do throw the occasional 100+ party, most events are designed for 30-60 people so we require an RSVP to ensure everyone can get in. And if you can't make it, please update your RSVP so someone on the waitlist gets to join.​

CAN I BRING MY FRIENDS?   Yes. Please do! Your KIS membership gives you 3 spots at every event so you can bring up to two friends with you. And both single and non-single friends are always welcome. Just be sure to grab each friend a spot when you RSVP.

CAN I BRING A DATE?  Um yes! KIS events are a great place to have a first (or second) date. You'll be around other KIS members in a fun space. Feel free to let the KIS host know you are meeting someone new for extra support.

WILL NON-SINGLE PEOPLE BE AT KIS EVENTS?  Probably. KIS is a social club providing space to connect and socialize. Most members are single and they bring social-but-non-single friends—the ultimate #wingman and #wingwoman. Bring a buddy or two for some extra support and confidence while meeting new people. Everyone's welcome at KIS.

PLEASE EXPLAIN THE PINS  Love to! We bring a box of magnetic lapel pins to each event. Wearing the pins is a (totally optional) fun way to show off your relationship status. Blue Hearts are worn by singles open to connection. Yellow Winged-Heart pins are worn by folks in committed relationships who are there supporting a single friend. And yes, you can keep your pin if you'd like ;)

IS THERE A COVER CHARGE OR FEE AT THE EVENT?  Absolutely NOT. Your membership gives you unlimited free entry to all of our events. Each event is different and we provide the details on each event page so you know what to expect. 

CAN I CHECK OUT OTHER MEMBERS BEFORE EVENTS?   Nope, no profiles here. We are all about in-person, real-life connection ...you're welcome ;)

I HAVE NO INTEREST IN MEETING ANYONE IN REAL LIFE, SHOULD I JOIN KIS?   Nope! But thanks for stopping by. KIS is designed for people who actually want to meet other people IRL.
